I noticed the difference the first time we tried it. The force on my legs was like carrying 50 lbs of deadweight without GARTS, and now it’s almost completely gone.”
Al has been fighting fire in Providence for 12 years. He is about to be made Lieutenant.  Al was instrumental in the development and live testing and evaluation of GARTS in its beginnings.

I've been on the job for fourteen years and struggled with my bunker pants since day one.  The restriction in the knee area has made the most fun part of the job, fires, a hassle. But now with the Garts in place, everything I do from walking up stairs to climbing a ladder is enjoyable.  The difference has been suprising.  I wish I found them earlier.  Quality service and product.”

Greg Bolduc, 15 year veteran firefighter. Leader/Trainer in his professional training company in New Hampshire and a firefighter in Manchester,
“I have had GARTS in my bunkers for months now, and it really does make a big difference. Recently I had activated the GARTS in preparation for a training exercise, and completely forgot they were tightened, until 8 hours of vigorous training later, I noticed that they had given me a little rash. Chris commented that this would be added to our FAQ sheet on GARTS, to get the word out that prolonged use could cause a skin irritation. We both agreed that it also proved that you get used to the feeling really fast. It isn’t as uncomfortable as some might expect.”
